Hi all,
Happy New Year!

The car
A big thank you to all who gave to the new car!
For those who don’t know what was going on: Wil had a car crash, a couple of weeks ago. The car was totalled, but Wil was ok, praise God.
And, as John always says: ‘it did not take the Lord by surprise, so He has made provision’, was true again. A mail went out for help and people responded! A couple from the network here in the Netherlands borrowed us their car for one week and after that week, a garage close by borrowed us a car for another week, so provision was made!

That same garage had a Renault Scenic from 2008 for sale, a diesel motor, automatic, low mileage. The moment we saw that car, it ‘clicked’ in our spirits and we knew that would be our new car.
The owner of the garage gave us one week to decide. Some money had come in already, but not the whole amount we needed to purchase the car, but we still had tremendous peace. So we trusted the peace, trusting the Father for His provision.
The evening before we had to decide, the last amount we needed came in as a personal loan, so we were able to buy that car.

So we want to thank all of you for helping us buying another car!
So wonderful to have a worldwide family, taking care of one another. What an example you are!

The CWOW Home
The date for our move to Herxen is set: March 25-26.
We are so exited, can’t wait to be there!
Still a lot of work to do, but we’re getting there. Our kids will help us move and some friends from the network too, but it seems wise to also hire a moving company for the ‘big and heavy stuff’ like washer, beds, closets, piano and such.

A big thank you to all donating for the CWOW home! We cannot do it without you.
The rent for the home is covered, but other costs will go up: costs for hosting people, transportation costs etc. So if you feel led to help us in that: welcome! Every euro counts J.

A new booklet!
It’s a booklet about women in ministry: ‘What About Women in Ministry?’. It will answer many question people might have, is easy to read, pulls history and scripture together, where it suddenly all makes sense!
If interested, check it out: : https://www.createspace.com/6784198

CWOWI-conference
The next international conference here in the Netherlands will be:
May 25-28
We hope to see a lot of you there!
If you have questions of any kind concerning the conference, please let us know; we will do what we can to help you and to get you over here!
Those days are the highlight in our lives!

Family
We mentioned in the last newsletter about a job for Carsten in Prague.
He is there now, started his job and found a place to live in a student flat, 35 minutes from his work.
Not big, but good for now and when he and Nasta are married, they can look for a bigger apartment.
It all went very fast and we are now officially ‘empty-nesters’…
It does take some time to adjust…40 years of caring is over…and it went by so fast!

Philippians 3:13 is a Scripture the Lord spoke to me about:
‘One thing I do: forgetting (no longer care for) those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead’.
For us: the care for our children is now a different one, they are adults and can take care of themselves; of course we will be there for them when they need it. But the focus has changed:
we now have to reach forward to what lies ahead of us!
Follow the peace in your spirit, what we did with the car, the CWOW home, Carsten’s move to Prague and many, many more times in the past and see the provision unfold. Do not go by your mind and reasoning, but learn to trust the Father and His ways – He is Good!
That involves taking thoughts captive that are contrary to the peace you have or the words the Lord or Father spoke to you and that is work! But so worth it!

Forget those things in the past, reach forward to what lies ahead: a great and glorious future!
Happy new Year!

Thanks for your support and prayers, so much appreciated!
Love and blessings,
Wil and Ank

Hi all,

The CWOW home
Well, the contract is signed and it’s official now: the last weekend of March we will make the move!
We already drove up there a couple of times, with a trailer full of stuff we don’t need here for now.
The owners are so kind to let us do that. They themselves are busy packing and sorting things out, as we are…still a lot to do!
The garden around the house is beautiful, but big and it will be a lot of work to maintain it. So glad we have people in our network that promised to help us with the garden. Any help is so welcome!
The house itself is beautiful maintained and needs no work, no painting and such, which is a blessing!
Although the owners leave some furniture in the home, because they downsize, we still have to buy for instance beds, mattresses and bedding. We need the home to be fully done before the conference in May, because there will be people from abroad who will stay with us before and after the conference.
So any financial help in that is very welcome!

I am so happy we have time to adjust to the new situation! It feels a bit like being pregnant: those 9 month are so needed to prepare for the new situation, also mentally. You who have children, know what I mean JThat’s the way it feels to me(Ank) too; so nice of the Father to give us time to prepare and adjust!

Wil is looking for a job close to our new home, but he wants to work less hours than he does now and we’re trusting the Father to provide in our needs as well. We will have more time then to travel and to host people and to do what we need to do.

A new season for many
There is a new season coming for many of us, not just for us. We see people moving to other homes, area’s, looking for other jobs. The sense of something new…a transition…so we’re exited to see the plans of the Father unfolded! It’s all about Him and His plans, especially in the times we’re living in.
What a privilege to be alive now!
What the Lord spoke to us, in 1980, is coming to pass: “The testimonies of My first witnesses will also be the testimonies of My last witnesses.” Read the book of Acts, it’s all about relationships, getting to know people and they get to know you. As it is said: ‘trust is the currency of ministry.’ In ministry, we minister based on trust. People look for you to be genuine and if they don’t trust you, they don’t receive from you. But trust has to be earned. When you read the first and second letter of Paul to the Thessalonians, you’ll see how Paul behaved himself and what kind of person he was among them; what an example!

Family-news
Carsten applied for a job in Prague and yesterday, November 30th  the company called him, saying he’s got the job! So we’re all very exited…and a bit stressed…they want him there this month.
So he needs to find a place to stay, preferably a shared apartment, to save money for the wedding in June. The great thing is that Nasta can join him after they are married, which would be a problem here in the Netherlands. As you know, she is from Belarus, which is not a Shengen country, what makes it difficult to enter the Netherlands.
But when they have lived together for 6 month or more, in Prague, she is able to legally come and live in the NL, without all the hassle we would have to go through to get her here.
So that is great!
Nasta is exited, she always wanted to live in Prague and Carsten has to work for that company for at least 1,5 year. We’ve never been there so far, but that will change!
So wonderful to see how the Lord orders our steps, and made provision beforehand!

Our trip to Lithuania

Last month we were in Lt for a couple of days, visiting different housechurches and individuals and it was a great and blessed trip.
Thank you, Tadas, for arranging everything so wonderful, as you always do and a lot of thanks to the people that hosted us and were such a wonderful host!
Lithuania feels like our second home and the people there are in our hearts.
We learn so much from them, the hospitality, caring for one another, the love there is between them, you guys are such an examples! And not to forget the food!

We had Michael Wittenberg, from the Netherlands, joining us. He and his family are part of CWOWI and Michael had the opportunity to travel together with us. It was his first time to Lithuania and he will share a bit about his experiences:

Lithuania trip 3-8 Nov. 2016 by Michael Wittenberg
Dear Friends,
In the beginning of November I accompanied Will and Ank to a sort trip to Lithuania. Together we visited different house churches and I made new friends. The first day we arrived we went to the 2nd city of Lithuania named Kaunas. This was my first time to this country so it was very special.
We stayed with a great family. The first day we visited a church meeting in the evening where I gave my testimony and also Wil and Ank shared from their heart. In this church we met a pastor who is in the prison-ministry for about 13 years and he is visiting the prison in Kaunas about 3 times a week. Many prisoners came to the Lord over a period of time and were also baptized there. In the prison I could chare my testimony to a group and share the gospel. At the end we could pray for them both as a group but also individually for different needs. It was pretty impressive to see a prison in this country from the inside and I can imagine it would be very different than a prison for example in the Netherlands.
Later that day we would travel by car from Kaunas to the capital Vilnius were we would stay the remaining days with another host family. During this trip we stopped at an ex-prisoners house where he was living with his mother. A dish was already prepared for us and we a good time of worshipping the Lord and sharing. The mother who was 75-years of age gave her heart to the Lord that night and also the nephew of this brother and we could pray with them.
After an impressive day we continue and met our other host family that evening and the next day (Saturday) we had a wonderful house church meeting in their house with about 25 people from different age.  During this meeting I shared myself how I came to the journey of discovering and participating house church. Also I went with Tadas to the Christian radio station he is working for and my testimony was recorded and will be broadcasted in December on this radio station.
On Sunday we went with the train back to Kaunas where we met we some older ladies and shared with each other. Later we went in the evening to another meeting and met nice Christians in a church meeting. Some of them came all the way from India and one brother had a encouraging (prophetic) word for me.
Last day was more relaxing and we spend some quality time in the morning with our host family and Vaidotas brought us to a nice shopping mall where I could buy some nice (chocolate) stuff to bring home.
All together it was a great experience and we had a blessed time. We could encourage a lot of people and were also encouraged ourselves. Lithuania is a beautiful country and I hope to visit you again.
Michael

Some pictures from the Lithuanian trip:
A big thanks to all who support us and the ones that help us pay the rent for the CWOW home!
Thank you for praying for us and our family, so much appreciated.

A merry Christmas to all and may the peace of the Lord dwell in your hearts and homes!

Love and blessings,
Wil and Ank

Hi all,

The CWOW home
Last week we visited the owners of the CWOW home again and we discussed the details of the contract for renting the home. We will sign the contract end of this month, so that is good news!

The owners will move out to their new home in mid-March, so we are planning to move in our new home the end of March. They need to do a small renovation first. So now we know the exact timing, which is good! By the 1st of April we will say goodbye to Houten…

In 1988 we moved from Deventer to Houten where Wil was offered a job in Driebergen as manager of a Christian bookstore (BKV). We asked the Lord if this was His will for our lives and we both received a Rhema from Him. He spoke from Acts 7:3 to Wil (a word the Lord spoke to Abraham): “get out of your country and from your relatives, and come to a land that I will show you”. For me it was John 15:16 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain.”
Wil indeed had to leave his relatives, because he was born and raised there, but that was not so with me.

It was so clear then for us, that we had to move and we ended up in Houten, close to Driebergen. We never thought and never had the desire to move back to where we came from, although people asked us that question several times. We knew this was the right place to be, in the centre of God’s will for our lives and that’s all that mattered.

So you can imagine that the idea to move back to that area felt strange at first. To me (Ank) is still feels a bit weird, but Wil is totally OK. The good thing is that we will be able to see Wil’s brothers and sisters more often. They all are getting older and do not know the Lord yet so we  will be there for them too, trusting the Father to open their spiritual eyes and ears so they will come to know Him before they die.

Furthermore, there is nothing more for us to do here in Houten. We’ve done a Saturday Bible school for years, Aglow, housechurch, we took care of my parents who are now with the Lord and 4 of our children left the nest, so to speak, and the last one will soon follow. We are officially ‘empty-nesters’ then. Lol. The cloud has definitely moved and we are following the cloud!

Both of us have great peace about the next move and we are so looking forward to be a home base for CWOW in Europe! The best is yet to come and great times are ahead!

Isaiah 60:1,2
It says: “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.”

That is what we are seeing around us: darkness, deep darkness covering the people. People are calling evil good and good evil; confusion is all over and those who do not know the Lord don’t know anymore the difference between evil and good. BUT the Lord will arise over us and His glory will be seen upon us. We are part of His Kingdom and He knows how to take care of His own.

The Lord gave me a vision in the last conference here in the Netherlands: I saw a clear division between light and darkness. People who were in the dark were fighting with one another, a war was going on. But we, His children, were in the light, looking up to Jesus who stood in front of us as the Lord of hosts. We were totally focused on Him, praising and worshiping Him and we only looked at Him, not even looking at the darkness next to us.

There is a spiritual war going on, no doubt about that. But we have to be careful not to fight the darkness and be watchful not to give the devil any place in our lives. Stay in the light, as He is in the light. We are children of light and we should walk in the light. Be busy with what He wants you to do, follow His lead and know that the best is yet to come!

Hebrews 12:1,2 says: “…let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…”

The Amplified Bible says it like this: “…looking away from all that will distract, to Jesus. If you have that version at home, read those verses, there is a lot more in it.

Well, that’s it for now.

We’ll make a trip to Lithuania beginning of November. Together with Tadas we will visit different house churches there. Remind us in your prayers.

Thanks a lot for your prayers and your gifts, very much appreciated!

Love and blessings,
Wil and Ank

New CWOWI base, family-update, adopted?!

Hi all,

A CWOWI base
We have great news!
A couple of weeks ago you received an email from us, with an introduction by John, about an opportunity for us to move to a bigger home.
In case you missed this email, let us know and we will send it to you.

From then on things went fast! People responded to our request and within a couple of days commitments/pledges to support us for one year came in, which was a wonderful confirmation and encouragement! And not just from the Netherlands and Europe, but also from the USA and some gave us a one time donation, which is very helpful too!
Three kids/teenagers from the same family heard about the home and wanted to give from their own pocket money! What a blessing, thanks guys!
And a big thank you to everyone who has pledged to give!

In the last email we showed you some pictures from a house in Asch, but that house did not work out. The same day we found out this one would not be our home, we heard about another house, through CWOWI friends.
We got in touch with the owners, who are Christians and for years pastored a church. They used the house, a renovated farmhouse, for the ministry. They hosted a lot of people nationally and internationally and are pleased the house will be used for the Lord in the same way again!

This house is so much better, so we are pleased now the other house did not work out. It is located in the countryside, no close neighbors, plenty of bed-and bathrooms, a big garden and a separate big room to do conferences and such (pictures are below). Really a retreat! We can do there, without any problems, what we want to do, which is hosting people from the Netherlands and abroad, mini-conferences, teachings and so on, you name it!

When Wil and I drove home, after our visit to the owners and seeing the house, we looked at each other and said: Pinch me, is this a dream?!
A Scripture came to mind, Psalm 126:1,2:
‘…we were like those that dream (it seemed so unreal). Then were our mouths filled with laughter and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations: The Lord has done great things for them!’ (Amplified version)
The Lord will be magnified, it’s all about Him and His plans and purposed!

The owners will move out end of January and that’s the timeframe we will make the move. So we have more time to sort things out here and pack things, which is good.
This house is located close to Zwolle, the name of the village is Herxen, close to Olst-Wijhe. More to the north from were we live now, but familiar, because Wil was born in Olst J and the first years of our marriage we lived in Deventer, a nearby city.
It’s a bit further to the airports, but we live in the Netherlands….everything is close by! Lol

Family update
Carsten finished his test and graduation assignment and did well. This week a final interview and end of September will be his graduation! We are all happy!
After that he has to look for a job and he needs at least a one year contract to be able to have Nasta come over here. His fiancée is from Belarus. Belarus is not part of the Shengen countries, which makes it a bit more complicated.
She was granted a one year visa, meaning she can stay here for a maximum of 90 days. So they will make plans soon for an upcoming wedding.
Please pray for the right job for Carsten, thank you!

Adopted?!
Ephesians 1:4,5 says that the Father chose us before the foundation of the world and predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ.
Galatians 4:5 says: ‘…to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons’.
Is it not interesting that we are adopted? In my mind, to be adopted is not the same as having a natural child…
there are TV-shows where adopted children are looking for their birth parents, feeling a sort of ‘second-handed’ if you know what I mean.

But it is interesting what the dictionary mentions about adoption: The acceptance of a person as a child. In legal terms adoption is the break of family relationship between biological parents and their child and the establishment of a new legally valid family relationship between the adoptive parents and the child, with all rights and obligations that go with it.
Wow! The break of…He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love! (Colossians 1:13)
We are His legal sons and daughters! Not only that, but He chose us before the foundation of the world! (Ephesians 1:4)

Besides that, the Father has rights and obligations, and we as His children have rights and obligations.
What are the rights of a child? A right to live, to love, food, shelter, protection, education, personal opinion and so on. You can find a lot information on the web, very interesting. So you could say: The rights of a child are the parents (the Father’s) obligations.
It’s the duty of the Father to take care of His children and because He adopted us, He choose to do this, out of His free will, amazing!

That is why Matthew 6:25-34 says: ‘Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?...For your heavenly Father knows that you need all of these thing!’
He is our Father! He chose to be our Father and therefore it’s His duty to take care of His children.
But, a father has rights too: to be respected, right to obedience, to comply with the (house)rules…that makes you think, right?

So, we are adopted, bought with a price (adopting is expensive) and our ‘biological parent’ has no right to us.
We are legally His children and we can call Him ‘Abba, Father’.
Religion calls Him God, family calls Him Father…
It is His duty to take care of us but also to teach us. He loves us the way we are, but He loves us too much to leave us the way we are. So grow up in Him and trust Him to be the best Father there is and ever will be.

Be blessed and thank you all for your prayers and support!
love,
Wil and Ank

Hi all!

We had a wonderful conference, back in April. Can’t believe it’s already June!
Because we added an extra day, Thursday, there was more time for fellowship and people that came from abroad, had more time to adjust, which worked well.

We will continue to add that extra day from now on, so next year’s conference will be from May 25 till 28, starting with Ascension Day. More people are free from work then, so we expect it to be easier for people to get to the conference.

We had more kids and teenagers present and they all did very well! The Lord ministered to some young people and they are on fire for Him! We asked them what they liked the most and they said: ‘The Presence of the Lord during worship’.

So when you think about coming next year, do not hesitate to take your kids with you, they are very welcome! As I mentioned to a family with young kids this year ‘we are all family and we will all help you look after your children’. And we did and it all worked out!

The time we live in
I was reading Ephesians 5 and the verses 15-20 jumped out to me:
“ See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ”.

It is obvious that the days we live in, are evil.
I want to do some word-study, that will give great understanding of what Paul was saying to the church in Ephesus, and it is so true for us today!
To walk circumspectly (akribos) means: ‘to gain exact information with the highest level of accuracy’. So we have to hear from God how to live and what to do!
The NIV translations says it this way: ‘Be very careful then how you live…’

‘Not as fools (asophos in Greek): not wise, foolish, because rejecting Gods’ leading (His will).
This is written to Christians, not to unbelievers! It is possible for us to live like the world, going by reasoning and feelings and not led by the Spirit. We can’t do that anymore.
‘…but as wise (sophos): skilled, learned, one who in action is governed by piety and integrity, discreet’. The word ‘discreet’ is interesting, because I remember the Lord told John that we have to walk discreet (not likely to be seen or noticed by many people, be wise in what you do).

‘…redeeming the time: make a wise and sacred use of every opportunity for doing good.
‘…because the days are evil: full of labors, annoyances, hardships, everything that has it’s origin from the evil one, Satan.

‘Therefore (because the days are evil) do not be unwise (same word as above: asophos), but understand what the will of the Lord is. Greek for understand: suniemi, which means consider, understand, perceive, gain insight, put facts together
This same word is used by Jesus in Mark 8:17 and 21. After the miracle of feeding the multitudes, the disciples were still reasoning because they had no bread. That’s why Jesus said to them: “Do you not perceive nor understand?’ and in verse 21: “How is it that you do not understand?” Jesus expected them to consider those miracles, to gain insight and to put things together, but they did not. He is still the same, and expects us to gain insight and to put things together…to know what the will of the Lord is.

Verse 18: ‘And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation: spiritual wastefulness due to excessive behaviour and the dire consequences it brings.
When the days are evil, try not to escape the hardships by getting drunk (or anything else that is wasteful.
‘..But…be filled with the Spirit. More accurate would be: ‘Be being filled’. This is a continuous action, not just a one time experience. Why? Because the days are evil. People who get drunk, want to escape their problems. We have to be ‘drunk’ with the Spirit, because the days are evil and if we are not careful, the cares and worries of the world will have a negative effect on us. There is just one solution: Be constantly  filled with the Spirit!

But how do you do that?! So glad you asked! Lol
Paul gives us the answer:

Verse 19: ‘speaking to yourselves (King James) and one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs and making melody in your heart to the Lord’.

A psalm is a Scripture set to music, with instruments. A hymn is a song that gives honor, praise or thanksgiving and a spiritual song is a spontaneous melody of praise to God, from a Spirit filled heart. Those songs minister to God and exhort others.
Just start praising the Father and our Lord with words that come out of your spirit.
I remember the pastor we had in the early days of our marriage. He was always speaking in tongues, singing to the Lord in his own language or in tongues. Whenever you would meet him, he was building himself up. And we can do that too!
Actually, we HAVE to do that, to be able to be wise and to understand the will of the Lord in these evil days.

‘giving thanks always for all things to God the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ’.
Someone once said: ‘unthankfulness leads  to ungodliness’.
Maybe you think ‘how can I say thanks for all things?’ For all the things that are difficult and painful? You don’t know what I am going through…That is too hard! But the word for in Greek means ‘for the betterment of,’ ‘to extend help that reaches beyond the present situation’.
Especially when you go through a difficult time, give thanks so you will get help to go beyond your present situation. It lifts you up, you will start to magnify the Lord, make Him bigger in your eyes and the mountain will become a molehill.

Wow, that was a lot!
It is actually a survival-kit for the days we live in!

Family
Our daughter Anneke moved a couple of weeks ago to the Hague. Her work is based there, she works for IJM (International Justice Mission). She has a very nice apartment, a perfect place provided by the Lord.

Carsten is working on his final assignment for school and hopefully he will be done end of August. Pray for him, it’s a lot of work and he needs a job when he has his diploma. Pray for Nasta too, his girlfriend. She wants to move to the Netherlands and she needs a job too.

The other kids and grandkids are doing great, looking forward to a couple of weeks off from work and school.

We will make a trip to Helsinki, first weekend of July and we are planning to join John and Barb to Lithuania and Latvia, in September.

That’s it for now,
Remember us in your giving and your prayers, we are thankful for every gift, no matter how small it might seems.
So thank you!

Blessings,
Wil and Ank

Hi all!

‘Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ’!
This is often the intro of Paul’s letters to the churches, which is a great way to say hello.
Isn’t it true that we need the grace of God a lot, His strength to live a godly life and to shine as stars in an increasingly darker world.
Not only do we need His grace, but his peace also. There can be a lot going on in our lives and in the world around us, but His peace is there, in our spirits, to let us know that He is ultimately in control and everything will be ok!

Paul also mentions in his letters that he thanks God always for them, making mention of them in his prayers.
So do we, you are in our hearts en prayers and we love to hear from you!
It is a joy for us visiting you and seeing you in person and to hear what the Lord is doing in your lives. He is a good God and Father!

We will be in Lithuania, March 9-13 to teach about the different aspects of grace. Such a privilege for us to be there! Wil is invited to join the men at a  Business men’s Fellowship meeting on Thursday and I will be with the women. We are looking forward to that!

Then we will have the annual CWOWI conference, in April and if you haven’t signed up yet, consider coming, because those days are so special, so rich and it’s so good to fellowship with the rest of the family.
We are adding some workshops, for the first time, which is partly the reason we add an extra day, Thursday. But it also gives us more time for fellowship.

So, if you haven’t signed up yet, please do so as soon as possible and invite others from your housechurch or people you think are interested in relationship based faith.

This is for the Dutch people (and those who speak Dutch J): the book Authority is now available in Dutch.
Contact us if you want to buy a copy.
We are also adding more teachings in Dutch about different subject on our website: www.cwowi.eu, so check it out.
And have you seen all the teachings and books of John on his website? www.supernaturalhousechurch.org.
Highly recommended!

A personal note: the past couple of weeks Wil and I have been looking for an other car, because our car would not pass inspection. It took a while, but we did buy another one, less miles on it and hopefully it will serve us well a couple of years. However, it was above budget, but we had peace to go along with it, trusting the Father it will all work out.
If you feel led to help us, that is very much appreciated!
The car is a need for us, without it we can’t travel and do what we are supposed to do.

Our youngest son Carsten started his final internship, whew! He needs a job after his graduation, so that is a prayer request.
Please let us know the prayer requests you have, it’s a privilege for us to stand with you in prayer and it is such a joy hearing what the Lord did and how He answered prayers!

We want to thank you for remembering us in your prayers and in your giving!
Know that we cannot do what we do, without your help, so thanks!!

Hope to see you soon,
love,
Wil and Ank

Dear friends!

It has been a few months since you heard from us last. The summer is behind us and fall is in full swing.

I am pretty sure that everyone has heard of the terrorist attacks in Paris. People are scared and worried about what else might happen and how this problem will get solved.
A few weeks ago, after that Russian plane was shot down, I was pondering about the this happening in the world. Then the Lord spoke, interrupting my thoughts, He said: "Great days are ahead, so don't be scared!". Him saying that, brought everything back in perspective.

Did you know that fear and unbelievable saddens the Lord?
Kenneth E. Hagin once said:"God has a little category of sin and He has put fear and unbelief first.” Why is that?
I was reminded of Isaiah 51:12-13: "I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid of a man who will die, and of the son of a man who will be made like grass? And you forget the Lord your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You have feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he is prepared to destroy."

If we would just focus on all the evil that is taken place in the world and we forget to remind ourselves Who the Lord is and what He has done for us, fear can come in very easily. We fear, because we forget Him!
So let us remember! Remind yourself Who the Lord is and remind yourself what He has done for you before and how He always takes care of you. If He did it before, He will do it again!

In Psalm 78 you can read the story of the Israelites, who forgot the works and wonders of God. They sinned against Him and it says that the Lord became furious, because they did not believe in God and did not trust His salvation. Verse 42 says that they did not remember His power: the day when He redeemed them from the enemy, when He worked His signs in
Egypt. Do not let fear take hold of your heart. You are His and He knows how to take care of His own.

Hebrews 3:16-19 also talks about the Israelites in the dessert and states they could not go into the promised land because of their unbelief. Fear and unbelief go hand in hand. The opposite of unbelief is faith. How do we get faith?
Romans 10:17:" Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God. The word for 'Word' in this verse is not logos (the written Word), but Rhema (the word spoken from God directly to you). Faith comes automatically if you hear from Him! Spend time with Him, let Him speak to you en know that what He speaks is truth. Like the Lord told me: "Great days are ahead, so don't be scared”, that is truth. Focus on what He is doing, do not be afraid, because greater is He who is in us, then he that is in the world.

Abraham is called the father of faith. What did God tell him? Romans 4:17: 'I have made thee a father of many nations.' It says he noticed that his body was getting older, but that he never doubted God's promise; "he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief." That's it! In Hebrews 11:11 it is written about Sarah that she judged Him faithful Who had promised. She had come to the conclusion that he was trustworthy, to be trusted, because she focused of Who He was to her and what He had done for her in the past. She had come to the conclusion: I can trust Him and will become a mother at this age!

We have had enough reasons to be afraid: fear how things would go with the children, how we could pay all the bills, you name it!
I will never forget something that happened years ago: in my mind I was just thinking about how things would go with two of our children....what they would do, what school they would go to, and so on. The Lord interrupted my thoughts and said: " Did I not promise you that I would take care of them?!" He was kind of strict and it felt like I got slapped on my fingers. What were just thoughts to me, the Lord knew their intentions and knew they were worries....and worries were not okay for me to have, because I should have known better! Oops....
So, the same way Jesus told Jairus:" Do not be afraid, have faith".

Travels
The last two months we mainly travelled in the Netherlands. We visited with people that we have never met and are interested in the network and with people whom we have known and are connected with.
The end of this month Wil and I will go to Lithuania and visit multiple people and house churches. Pray for us!
In January we will travel to Berlin. We will visit Katrin and Jostein Grothe and their daughter. They have been at the conference for the last two years, so you might know who I am talking about.

Our family
On the 15th of this month three of our grandchildren were baptized in water. Their ages are between 6-15 years old. It is a great thing they have decided to live their lives for the Lord!

Carsten is in his last year of human resources management; he is looking for a place to finish his last internship.
Elsbeth and Mat from the USA are working on move here. There are many things to arrange and things need to fall into place, like a house and work, but we trust everything will work out at the right time. Prayer sure is appreciated!

Books/ mp3

The book "righteousness, from the inside out" is available now in Dutch.

The English version is also available, see our website: http://www.cwowi.eu/books-written-by-ank-kleinmeulman.html

The second book is about our authority in Christ will hopefully be out the end of this year. We are working on the translation, from English to Dutch.

You can also find teachings in Dutch on our website and there is more to come! For those who understand English; there is an amazing amount of teachings f on John that you can find on his website: www.supernaturalhousechurch.org

Thanks
Everyone who prays for us: thanks! We really appreciate it!
For all the financial support: thanks! We could not do what we do without your help.
There is a lot to do and are resources are limited, so if you could remember us in your giving, that would be great!
Thank you!

Dear friends,

It has been a while since you heard from us, although we have seen some of you last conference, over 2 month ago now…wow, time flies!

Review

What a great time we had together! Why are those times so special? Is it not because we experience the presence of the Lord? He manifested Himself in so many ways – it always humbles me to realize that the Lord of the universe comes and ministers to His people and does what He wants to do – amazing!

Besides that, we so enjoyed the teachings, the worship, the meals we had together and the fellowship, laughing and sometimes crying together.

It was great to meet people for the first time and to see that children and teenagers were present! If children have a desire to join, let them come – they are never too young! I (Ank) know the Lord from young age on and as a child I always walked and talked with Him and so can children nowadays. Do not hinder them.

A very special thing for us was that our son Ruben and his wife Miranda were able to join us for the first time, as well as Elsbeth and her family.

It was also great to have Bita and Marius from Finland with us, as well as Leena, who translates the Weekly Thoughts into Finnish. After our conference Marius and Bita had a busy time, together with John, travelling and ministering to housechurches in Finland. Sadly we could not join them, but next year we will! The reason we could not go to Finland, is partly because we had a family-weekend the weekend after our conference, and yes, family is important! Can you imagine: 19 Kleinmeulmannetjes together…lol. It was a very special time!

We want to thank everyone who helped us in one way or another: we could not have done it without you!

Well, time flew by an we heard from several people they felt the conference had just started…but then they had to go home…that is what they said…lol

How it all started, for those who were not with us from the beginning.

We came in contact with John in 2004 and he and Barb came to the Netherlands for the very first time. We rented a small room and invited some people and John share about the basics of housechurch there. That was more or less the beginning of CWOWI Netherlands/Europe!

For a couple of years after that, we held one-day conferences, on Saturdays, and on Sundays we travelled to a group or a housechurch here in our country.

In 2009 we perceived it would be a good idea to look for a venue where people could stay over for a night, so we could spend more time together. We ended up renting a sort of holiday farm for a weekend, located close to the German border, in the east of our country. Good for once, but we had to take care of the meals ourselves, and the rooms were pretty basic…so that was a busy time and a lot to take care of for us.

But that weekend people from abroad came to the conference for the first time, from Germany and France, if I remember well. That was possible now, because they could stay overnight!

That same year  we heard about Helvoirt, the venue where we have been now for 5 years in a row, which works very well. The good thing is that all the meals, snacks, drinks, are taken care of, what helps us a lot! And there is enough room to host a lot of people. Besides that, the people in charge are very helpful and willing to make the weekend work for us.

So till now, the conferences were held Friday afternoon till Sunday afternoon.

But now we perceive in our spirit that something has to change. The last two years we were with around 70 people, and we feel there is not enough time, for us and others, to talk to everyone. Besides that, there are always people coming for the first time and they want to learn about the basics of housechurch, which is good and needed! But for those who do housechurch for years, they have different interests. So it comes down, probably, to having multiple ‘seminars’ or so, about a variety of subjects next year. But that is not doable within those two days….and it would be good to have some extra time for fellowship too….

So, quite a challenge! Pray for us for wisdom, thank you!

Feedback and ideas are welcome, we will prayerfully consider them.

And now what?

What we see around us, is that people are ready now to start a housechurch, even if they are (still) with their own family. Oftentimes that is exiting for them, but they also have lots of questions and that is where we come in: being there for them, helping them out, answering questions…There is always the question that comes up: What about covering? And what they hear from friends in the churches they left: “But you have to go to a church! You can’t be a church just with your family! And what about accountability?!”

So good for them then to know they are not alone, but are part of a family. Covering and accountability comes by being in relationship with one another, by knowing each other. Just like it was in the book of Acts!

However, that requires a dedication to each other, being willing to travel and visit each other and to spend time together.

You can find more about housechurches on our website and on John’s website, if interested.

What is happening here in the Netherlands, is that people want to see each other, and not just once a year. There are a couple of young families in the northern part of our country who decides to come together on a regular bases and they already did so! Good for you!!

But the same can happen here in the middle and the south of our country. Just be willing to travel a bit – we are not that big☺ We Dutch have to change our thinking about travelling; an hour or so is not that much…and investing in people is eternal!

Wil and I have not planned a trip abroad so far, but we are in the process of doing so. You will here more soon. For now, we are visiting people here in the Netherlands during summer.

Family news

Great news: our daughter Elsbeth and family heard from the Lord and know they have to move to the Netherlands! They will be here to help us with CWOWI, what will be a great help to us and a big blessing!

Their house was for sale, but is already sold!

So for them, that means they have to stay at Mat’s parents for some time and from there on they have to work on the rest.

Mat needs a job here, that would be the best way to be able to move here, so prayer is very welcome! And housing of course!

Carsten has just finished his third year Human Resource Management and has one more year to do. His girlfriend, Nasta, from Belarus does an internship here in Houten at the moment, but her visa expires end of July, so she has to go home then. Carsten will join her, and he will meet her parents for the very first time!

Also pray for them, for the next step for Nasta, because she also needs a job here to be able to move to our country and to live here. As you might now, Belarus is not a part of the Shengen countries, which makes it more difficult for people to stay here.

But that’s something the Lord knows as well, and we know He has already made the provision, so…☺ it will be all good! Same goes for Els and Mat!

There are also some changes coming up for Wil and I.

Way back, for the Israelites, when the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire moved, they had to move too. That’s the way it feels for us too – He is moving us and it’s up to us to follow; we do not want to stay behind. I can imagine it was not always convenient for the children of Israel, when the cloud moved in the middle of the night and they had to pack their stuff and follow the cloud and when He wants us to move, that is most of the time not convenient at all for us! But it is the best thing to do.

At the moment Wil works 4 days at a Shell gas station, but with all the work we do within the network, it’s very busy. Actually, we have two fulltime jobs…We perceive the Lord wants us to work less at Shell, and to expect to receive provision from the ministry. We have to make the transition from two fulltime jobs to our current fulltime ministry only. So for us, we have to do some research about taxes and other stuff. Please pray for us!

Some of you already give regularly and we appreciate that very much! But if not, consider prayerfully how you can help us in this transition. We appreciate any amount, the consistency of it is important for us to be able to pay our monthly bills.

Thank you!

Vacation

July and August are vacation month for many and we wish you all a very good time; enjoy your family, free time and the beautiful weather.

We planned a day to meet all of you in the Netherlands, September .. .

So everyone who is a part of CWOWI or is interested in housechurch, in relationship based faith, is very welcome!

Finally, we want to thank you all for praying for us and for your donations.

Know we are here for you, always welcome to contact us!

Blessings,

Wil and Ank

Dear friends,

First off I would like to share about finances and how the Lord can have a different point of view then we do. After that I'll share about our trip to Lithuania, our family, the conference in May and Ank's books!

Finances and the Lord’s perspective

Marc 12:41-44: "Sitting across from the offering box, he was observing how the crowd tossed money in for the collection."

He was not watching to see how much people gave, but how they gave their offering and what their motive behind it was.

The next verse: "Many of the rich were making large contributions. One poor widow came up and put in two small coins - a measly 2 cents. Jesus called His disciples over and said: “The truth is that this poor widow gave more to the collection than all the others put together. All the others gave what they'll never miss; she gave extravagantly what she couldn't afford - she gave her all.”

Jesus did not stop the widow from giving an offering! He knew she was poor and He knew that she was giving her all...think about that…What do we think sometimes? ‘I only have a little, it's too small for the Lord to do something with...and besides, it's all I have; how am I going to pay the bills?’ Sound familiar?

That reminds me of the boy who had the 5 loaves and two fish, in John 6:5-13.

Verse 9 says: "There's a little boy who has five barley loaves and two fish. But what are they among so many? (500 men, not counting the women and children). Andrew was looking at the situation with his natural eyes.....

In First Kings 17 we can read the story of Elijah and the widow in Zarephath.

Elijah asks the widow for some bread. She responds in verse 12 that she has no bread left. ‘Only a handful of flour and oil.’ Elijah said to her:" Do not fear. Go ahead and do what you said. But first make a small biscuit for me and bring it back here....the flour will not run out and the bottle of oil will not become empty...” and she went right off and did it, did just as Elijah asked and it turned out as he said - daily food for her and her family.

The widow saw the little that she had, but the Lord saw the possibilities of what He could do with the little! Out of what she gave, came provision for her, Elijah and her family in a time of a drought and shortage of food!

Why does He asks of us to give the little that we have left? What we really need in the natural? Because of this principles: "Give and you shall receive...." He is still the same and will provide in times of droughts and shortages. It's up to us to not fear when He asks us to give, that which we don't think we can miss. It's up to us to trust Him to take care of us!

Proverbs 11:24, 25: "There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty.” I am challenging you to look with different eyes at the little you have and to learn to trust Him.

Trip to Lithuania

In January Wil, Hilda and me went to Lithuania. After our previous trip we got the desire to go back and to do some teachings, translated into Lithuanian and to make those available on MP3's and video. Eventually it ended up to be a 3-day conference! The days were wonderful! There was a great mix of the Word and the Spirit. Teaching was followed with praise and worship, people received revelation and were set free! All the glory goes to the Lord! Tadas and others did a great work putting it all together and proving food for everyone. Thanks!

Family news

Our daughter Elsbeth is coming to the Netherlands in May with her husband and kids. They will also be at the conference, so you will finally have a chance to meet them! JThey will stay here for two weeks. The weekend after the conference we will spend time as a family, with all the kids and grandkids. That will be in Baflo, Groningen, where our son Ruben lives with his family, 2 hours from our home.

The conference

Only a month left and it's that time again! We are so looking forward to seeing everyone! We are excited about what the Lord will do this year. We are expecting people from Norway, Finland, Scotland, England, Germany, Turkey, the USA and probably Africa and of course the people from the Netherlands!

The dates are May 8th-10th.

For more info go to: www.cwowi.eu

There are some people who would like to come, but don't have the finances. If you are willing to help pay someone's way, please help. When you send your donation, please make sure to comment what you are giving it for. Thank you!

Ank's books

Officially I can say now that I'm an author...that sounds weird! Sharon took the teachings that were recorded for the online bible school and put them into book form. Those are now published as an e-book and as a regular book. She did a great job! The titles are: ‘Righteous, Live It Inside Out’ and 'Authority, Know Who You Are'.

For now the books are only available in English, but we are working on a Dutch translation. There will be some English copies available at the conference.

These books are good for your own study time or to use with new born again believers; it's a 'basic' for every Christian.

Finally

Thank you  everyone who supports us with prayer and/ or finances! We could not do what we do without You!

Blessings,
Till we meet again,
Wil and Ank

Dear friends!

Time flies; it is December already! Soon we will be celebrating Christmas, to remember how our Lord, the living Word, became flesh and how He lived among us! How amazing it is that He gave up the glory He had with the Father. The Word says it this way:
Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not[c]think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped orretained,  But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. Fil 2:6-7 AMP

Last month we traveled to Lithuania and Latvia. A big thank you to all who made this trip possible! There was no way we could have gone on this trip without  the financial support you gave us.

We started in Vilnius, the Capitol city of Lithuania. We took the train with Tadas and Evaldas to Kaunas, where we had multiple meetings. From there we traveled by car. Vita was so gracious to use up her vacation to drive us everywhere. Thanks Vita!

From there we went to Panevezys, where we had a meeting with a lot of young families with little kids. It was a special time!

From there we traveled to Siauliai, to a house church with a few families. Then we traveled to Silale, where Vitas parents live and where there's a lot of people that were born again not too long ago. The Lord touched an elderly woman that night and she gave her life to the Lord! People do not speak English there, so Tadas was our translater,; he did a great job!

Late that night we drove to Kleipeda, where we stayed for a few days. That town is at the coast of the Baltic Sea. We made new contacts with some people who have been doing house church for a while.

After that we were able to spend some time with Carsten, our youngest son. He is an exchange student at the LCC university in Kleipeda. Not for too much longer though, because he will be back home on December 22nd. We are excited about that!

We met his friends, had a tour of the university and got to see how well he is doing!

From there we traveled to Saldus, Latvia where Leva lives. She was at the Dutch conference this year with 4 of the teenagers. She has young people over at her house every weekend and they do house church together. She is like a mother to them, which is something they really need, because they come from broken homes and went through a lot at their young age.

Leva drove us to Riga, to the airport, so we could fly back home. It was a great trip!

There is such a nig need in Lithuania for balanced Biblical teachings about the 'basics'. Subjects like: who you are in Christ, what happened to you when you got born again, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, spiritual authority. A lot of the older people do not speak English, which makes the need for teachings in Lithuanian a big one.

We are planning for a trip sometime in February 2015 to go back and focus on teaching. We will be teaching in English, what will be translated to Lithuanian. That will be recorded, so that people can get those teachings and use them in their house churches. This way they can receive teachings in their own homes and teach the new born Christians all they have been taught themselves.

Something we notice about the groups in Lithuania is that they really make an effort to visit each other and to be there for each other. There are bigger distances between them compared to here and most of them travel with public transportation, but still they are there for each other!

That reminds me of Acts 2:42: And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship....

The word fellowship is the word 'koinonia' in Greek and it means to have a deal, spiritual bond with they Lord and each other. To share with each other, to be a unity, partners. So the first disciples were devoted to each other, not for a short time, but for a long time and were a priority to each other!

They knew who they belonged to and who belonged to them. After Peter and John were let go in chapter 4:23, they went to their companions. The result to that is what we can read in vers 24: ''...they raised their voice to God with one accord.... The result was that they all were filled with the Holy Spirit en spoke the Word with boldness!

People did not leave when times got rough, they did not separate themselves from others. They went to their companions. They stayed connected, in the good and the bad and they knew they needed each other.

Now and even more in the time to come it is so vital that we stay connected with each other and that we do not become loners.

Our prayer and desire is to dedicate ourselves even more to the Lord and to each other!

We hope you all will have a great Christmas and a happy 2015!

Thank you for all the prayers and the financial support!

Love,
Wil en Ank
